Hi all, I’m finally done with my 2nd bralette type top! It took me a minute because I was prepping for my first event of the year, so I didn’t have the time to fully write the pattern and take pictures.
One of the hardest part for me on this top was the back ties. I wasn’t too sure how I want them to look. I wanted something different then the last top. I think I tried at least 3-4 different styles and had to take it apart over and over -_- At the end, I ended up with one I like and it went pretty smooth from then. I wanted to finish and publish this top and pattern in June, but I couldn’t get it done in time. So July it is!

This opportunity to work with a few new testers has helped me really see that everyone has a different crochet style, whether it’s their tension or their perspective. I always knew people either crochet tight, loose, or “neutral”, but I guess I never took it into consideration for my patterns. I had some testers used a larger hook or a smaller hook to accommodate their tension which is definitely interesting to me! I had a tester, where we figured out that her tension was looser than mine, so to achieve a truer size we thought that if she went down a hook size then the top may fit better! I can always appreciate new experiences like this because it helps me become better at my craft! So, thank you all, you guys are the best 🙂
